Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 27, 2026 · Last updated: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how CVMATH Holdings LLC, the California company doing business as The Beastie Factory (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the mobile applications and games we publish (the “Apps”) and this website. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve our Apps, and we use it for internal operations and analytics only — never for behavioral advertising or to build profiles of our players.
Information we collect
Our Apps may collect the following, depending on the App and your settings:
- Device and usage data — device model, operating system version, language, general region, app version, session length, and gameplay events (for example, battle completed). Used to fix bugs and improve the Apps.
- A random player ID — our Apps do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID) and do not track users across apps or websites. Instead, each App generates a random identifier we call a player_id. It is not derived from, and cannot be linked to, anyone’s real-world identity. It is used only to save game progress, deliver purchases, and count usage — never to identify, contact, or profile a player.
- Performance data — technical measurements such as app start-up time, screen load times, and responsiveness, so we can keep the Apps running smoothly.
- Crash data — crash logs and diagnostics so we can find and fix problems.
- Purchase information — if you make an in-app purchase, the payment is processed entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play; we never receive or store payment card details. We use RevenueCat to validate the purchase receipt and unlock what was bought. RevenueCat receives the store receipt, transaction identifiers, and the random player_id — nothing that identifies you personally.
- Support messages — if you email us, we receive your email address and message contents so we can respond.
We do not ask for your name, contacts, photos, or precise location, and our Apps function without an account.
Third-party services
Our Apps use a small number of third-party services that process the data above on our behalf. Depending on the App, these are:
- Google Firebase Analytics — usage analytics
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash diagnostics
- Google Firebase Performance Monitoring — app performance measurement
- Google Firebase Remote Config — delivering app settings and gameplay tuning
- Google Analytics / BigQuery — secure storage and analysis of the analytics data described above
- RevenueCat — purchase receipt validation and delivery of purchases
- Apple App Store / Google Play — app delivery and purchases
Each of these services is configured for use in child-directed apps, and each provider’s handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy. We use them solely to support the internal operations of our Apps — understanding how they are used, fixing problems, tuning gameplay, and delivering purchases. None of this data is used for behavioral advertising, sold, or shared with ad networks.
Advertising
Our Apps do not display advertising.
Children’s privacy
Our Apps are designed for children ages 4 and up, and we build them to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, the GDPR in the EU/UK, and the family policies of Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
- We do not collect personal information from children. Our Apps do not ask for names, email addresses, photos, contacts, precise location, or any other personal details, and they work without an account.
- Our Apps do not display advertising.
- The limited technical data described in “Information we collect” (usage events, performance measurements, crash logs, and the random player_id) is used solely to support the internal operations of our Apps — fixing bugs, keeping them working, and understanding how they are played — as permitted by COPPA, and is never used to contact or profile a child.
- Our Apps do not include social features, chat, or links out to the open internet, and any parent-directed sections (such as purchases or settings) sit behind a parental gate.
Parents’ access and deletion rights: parents have the right to review the information associated with their child’s use of our Apps, to have it deleted, and to refuse to permit any further collection or use. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below from the account you want us to reply to; we will verify your request, explain what data (if any) is associated with your child’s player_id, and honor deletion requests promptly — deleting the player_id and every record tied to it with our providers, and confirming when it is done. Because we do not collect personal information in the ordinary course, this data consists of the technical records described above. Exercising these rights never costs anything, and refusing collection simply means uninstalling the App or asking us to delete its data.
How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Analytics data tied to a player_id is retained for up to 2 months; crash reports and performance data for about 90 days. Analytics we keep longer in BigQuery is aggregated so it no longer relates to any individual device or player_id. Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat for as long as needed to deliver your purchases and meet financial record-keeping requirements. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your issue. On request, we delete data tied to a specific player_id sooner, as described in “Children’s privacy.”
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We do not sell personal information. Parents of children who use our Apps have the additional access and deletion rights described in “Children’s privacy.”
Security
Data sent by our Apps is transmitted over encrypted connections, and we limit access to the small number of people who need it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the Apps or on this site.
